After obtaining permission from the correct source , I may actually have the only artifacts recovered from the 1813 Battle of Craney Island , beginning with, musket balls, and a early 1800’s US Marine Corps button. I have several other objects and continue to have finds to this day. When I feel I have uncovered enough , I will get the proper people involved to see absolute proof that there was indeed a ground battle in this area.
